Story Progress

People I’ve talked to so far: So far I have talked to three different athletes (cross country, volleyball, and women's basketball)

Some other sources that I plan on talking to is maybe a coach and/or someone in the UMD Athletics just as an overall source. I definitely want to find and talk to more athletes from the other sports I have talked about yet.

The one thing that I’ve learned so far is that so far all the athletes I’ve talked to are really struggling with the unknown and there seems to be a lot of confusion among the athletes across all sports with what they are allowed to do in terms of practicing and what the future holds.

What has surprised me the most is that most of the athletes are pretty calm with the situation and for the most part trust the university to make the right decision.

I shouldn’t have a problem relating the story to what else is happening in the world because this is a problem that is happening at almost every university in the country and is a topic that even came up in the first presidential debate on Tuesday night.
